CT-C6873 Microcontroller Type Clock/Countdown Timer

This kit uses a pre-programmed PIC type SX18AC/DP integrated circuit that has been programmed to function as a 4 digit clock and countdown timer. The digital clock uses an AC adapter and flashes a color for each second. The countdown timer can be set from 1 second up to 59 minutes 59 seconds. After the countdown timer has elapsed, a pleasant tone will be emitted from the on board speaker. At this point a set of DPDT 1/2amp relay contacts will operate (which can be used to turn on or off devices of your choice). The timer can be used independently of the clock. This kit includes an introduction of microcontrollers, embedded systems and a brief explanation of the code that was used to cause the SX18AC/DP to perform as a clock/countdown timer. Complete with all parts, PC board, pre-programmed PIC IC and instructions. Size of PC board 3 3/4" square.
